Wow – that pony looks like something Tony Cochran would draw.

Our state is still debating to retain Daylight Standard Time. Here in the PNW it’s already getting a lot lighter since the Winter Solstice and will continue to do so without government intervention [ie: Saving Time] Since we no longer ‘Spring Forward’ [used to be the first weekend in April] here we lose that hour and end up with cold, dark mornings which is not conducive for students waiting for buses or for my granddaughter who starts work at 6am. And since we’ve been experiencing triple digit summers, we certainly do not need that extra hour of heat. Arizona has the right idea; they use Standard Time all year round.

I grew up watching Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom….no glossing over predatorial behavior back then….

This is an old cartoon; I archived it years ago because my son and grandson go to a game occasionally and the refs usually deserve to be yelled at.

My poor grandson watched the Portland Trailblazers blow a 17 point lead to lose by 2 free throws [questionable fowl called by the refs] in the last seconds; at least he got a night out with his dad and a ‘Blazer Burger’….. Our coach stinks..

My oldest son had his tonsils and adenoids removed [in the late 70’s] when he was a preschooler – and tubes in his ears. He had what was called ‘kissing tonsils’ because they were so enlarged he drooled constantly and we had difficulty understanding his speech. A plus is he doesn’t get infected tonsils, the negative is the germs go right down his throat and he gets upper respiratory infections easily.
