Stormcloud Silverlining Snowpaws Free

I live in Alberta, Canada, I'm a work-from-home author and editor for a sci-fi & fantasy mag. At the time of writing, we're owned by two cats, Brambley and Monty, having very recently lost our venerable aristo-cat, Stormy.

I agree. It used to be that as long as it has the caffeine content and isn’t growing floaty green thingies, in a pinch, it’s good. It’s better hot, but it’s not a deal breaker if it isn’t.

Years ago, we had a cat that had a long and distinguished career as a speed bump. He especially liked to snooze at the head of the stairs but could more often be found sleeping stretched across the hall or in doorways. RIP C.B.

This is supposed to be amusing, but it’s far too close to what is really going on. It’s more than a bit scary.

Where I live, we hope for sunny weather on Feb 2. Up here, only six more weeks of winter is a GOOD thing.

    Happy Imbolc!

Radu is a bit scary. He seemed a tad upset. He says he doesn’t know how you got hold of his phone number, but if you give it out again, he’s “coming for you.”

  6. 4 days ago on Broom Hilda

Meanwhile, Broomie is about to get lucky and have a suitor fall into her lap…quite literally.

How do I get in touch with the internet, then? I need to ask about something.

  8. 6 days ago on Baby Blues

It seems all toddlers go through a phase where they communicate with more decibels than you’d think those tiny throats could reasonably produce, and a piercing shrillness that borders on weapons grade. Most of them outgrow this phase but not before most parents are completely frazzled with crossed eyes and clenched teeth.

The stranger has such a cold personality.

“But never ever on a Sunday a Sunday a Sunday

Cause that’s my day of rest…"

    With apologies to Connie Francis.
