   Who cares what “color” Jesus was. We know he was a Jew, and that means he was a descendant of Abraham which would have made him of Chaldean descent, in other words of a people who once lived in or around modern day Iraq. And that was precisely what the film tried to portray him as, what with the Aramaic dialect and all. Still it is irrelevant. He came for all people, despite what the ignorant racists think. And before someone goes bashing Christianity because of all the anti-Christian things people do while claiming it as their religion, you can’t blame Christ (or His Father) for the evil acts that people commit. He will deal with them (and Pat Robertson) when their times come.

   I think the point of the protesters that there are not easy answers because there are SO MANY problems. If they start pretending to have the answers to one or a few, they will become defined in the media by those issues, at the expense of the rest. I can tell you part of the problem is that we as Americans always think that someone needs to have the answers. They are simply, and courageously, trying to start the dialogue by illustrating that there are definitely problems: once the dialogue has been initiated then we, the people, can start to discuss what the solutions might be. But there is one thing we know for sure:there are problems; we can not sustain our present course without facing great disaster in the near future. For those who don’t see any problems, trust me, you are part of them.

   What does 1/3 of the U.S.‘s entire foreign aid budget (in the form of military aid), nearly unlimited (and certainly unprecedented) access to our military research and training facilities, and a congress which passes laws like the one that ends funding to any NGO that recognizes the Palestinian’s right to statehood amount to if not help from us? I love Jewish culture and i am certainly anything but anti-Semitic, but let’s face it, the Israelis are not the victims Zionists would have us believe they are. If they wanted peace with the Palestinians they wouldn’t be stealing their land with the security wall and settlements. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but the truth is the truth.
