Loved that series! It was so much better than the books, too!

Yep. Itā€™s not her fault if the current one is not even half as smart as Rose. Twice as mean, sure, but clever? No way.

Iā€™m proud of myself passing that Roman math quiz! However Iā€™m bummed I didnā€™t notice the ā€˜cheat sheetā€™ ā€“ and these are brand new glasses! 8-)

From the perspective of your own, or any one lifetime, you can believe that. Modern English has seen all kinds of changes in just a few hundred years, never mind Old and Middle English. Most of us need a dictionary, or at least a few minutes of serious deep thought, to both read Shakespeare aloud and comprehend it.

I thought Iā€™d always reject the ā€˜incorrectā€™ being acceptable, and go kicking and screaming into a world where further/farther, bring/take, and was/were (to name a few) were used ā€˜incorrectlyā€™ but truth is -language actually does evolve.

Probably because you started calling as soon as they opened ā€“ lots of other people always have a similarly urgent issue, whether itā€™s a vet or people doctorā€™s office. I do empathize and hope everything is okay. If thereā€™s a next time, maybe just start driving their way a half-hour before they open? Or is there a 24-hour vet in your area? (Nearest to us is 40 miles away.)

A PSA because it matters: 988 is the Crisis & Suicide phone # in the US, to call or text. And itā€™s confidential. From the website: ā€œThe Lifeline is comprised of a national network of over 200 local crisis centers, combining custom local care and resources with national standards and best practices.ā€

Originally he was a cobbler. I suppose the fairy guild pays him to hassle tourists around rainbows, and really hope heā€™s getting royalties for all the reproductions of his image around St. Patrickā€™s Day.

Makes sense for young to think of Scooby-Doo, heā€™s had a higher profile/better agent for decades :-D Too bad Tatulli didnā€™t include something like ā€œapologies to Chic Youngā€ so context could be had in a 10 second Google/Bing search.
