Only problem with that is the person has to know that they don’t know something. In my opinion, and experience, most of the craziest conspiracies are shouted by people that don’t realize they don’t anything about the subject. “I know that I know nothing” – Socrates
Two years ago, my back went out when I went to pick up small laundry basket with a few clothes in it. Very light, but when I went to straighten up it felt like someone grabbed both ends of my spine and stretched it out. Worst pain I ever felt in my life and needless to say that I dropped to the ground, screaming, and went into the fetal position. The pain eased laying there, but I wasn’t able to move for hours and only barely after taking a large amount of Tylenol and Motrin.
I have had injections in my spine and even some of the nerves cauterized to try and dull the pain, but nothing took it all away; and I refuse to do drugs because of other meds I take. Still hurts when I stand for too long or bend over for more than a couple seconds. Ugh…I feel your pain Norm!
Military folks do this all the time. I would invite all my troops for holidays and such whenever possible. We were a family; and to many, a lot better family than they came from. Leadership may demand we be hard-asses. But the best leaders, IMO, were the ones that showed you mattered and were appreciated…even if we did lose our voice yelling at you!
My company calls them BBUs…Battling Business Units. Then makes them all compete for their cut in the budget. Real family here!
