My buddy has a weird cat. At dinnertime, even if there’s food in the dish, the cat won’t eat it unless my friend puts it back in the bag and scoops out fresh cat food.
@TrapperJohn: I remember a Sunday strip years ago when Ralph is on a diet but still wants a donut. He goes in, asks for one, but the worker tells him it’s BOGO … then Ralph’s up to a half-dozen … a dozen … then boxes of donuts because of the deals. So much for the diet!
Might Norman score into his own net, as the Edmonton Oilers’ Steve Smith did in 1986 against the Calgary Flames? It was his 23rd birthday, too, and is one of the biggest bloopers in NHL history.
Reminds me of my favorite Drabble Sunday strip (doughnut edition) from a few years ago. Ralph goes to a doughnut shop intending to buy only one because he’s on a diet. Well, they have a 2-for-1 special, he goes up to a half-dozen and before long Ralph’s headed home with dozens of doughnuts. Very funny!
