It doesn’t help Red One’s box office receipts that it’s already available to watch on streaming. It’s unlikely, but it could already technically be profitable; we’ll never know about it. (Then again, the way Hollywood bookkeeping goes, I’m not sure Amazon will either.)

Which is a big part of why Trump won: The left (such as me) just didn’t vibe with the fear messaging that the Democratic Party pushed out. It just felt like “bad forever” (Democrats) vs “burn it all down” (Republicans).And although we’d NEVER EVER vote for the fascist GOP, many of us are willing to wash our hands of the whole affair and hope someone can pull off a Seldon Plan.
And then sell what we receive to the highest bidder. And the second-highest bidder. And the… you know what, whoever is willing to pay for it so that we maximize our profits.
