I’d say he fits in quite nicely in today’s world, there’s plenty of people that are not willing to allow room for the ideas and lifestyles and beliefs of others around them. Have you heard of Syria? Iraq, Iran, or maybe Sudan, Lebanon, Rwanda, Uganda? The Middle East, and African Nations are well known examples of this type of thought, but then again, our own back yard is also filled with such closed mindedness. We get enraged over political debates because we don’t agree with what the other candidate said, we can’t just say “well, that’s what he believes, it’s not what I believe, but that’s okay!”
I don’t eat Oreo’s, not because of their affiliation or politics, but because I don’t want to be fat. I also don’t each Chick Fil Et, not because of their affiliation, or politics, but because I don’t want to be fat. I don’t care what their stance is, does that change the taste of their food? I think this is a case of people looking for a new reason to complain. It’s the same as not being friends with someone just because they do or don’t believe the same things as you! Really? Are we that bad that we are going to be hateful towards anything and everyone that doesn’t share our beliefs and or values? Is that what this world has come to? Can’t we all just get along? I think Chick Fil Et still makes awesome chicken sandwiches and fries, whether they are anti-Gay, pro-Life, or whatever!
