“The beginning of the strife is like letting out water, so quit before the quarrel breaks out” -Proverbs 17:14

Reminded me of Kurt Russell in Used Cars (funny movie!) where he meets various couples looking at cars

    Navajo couple

Hello, Rudy Two Feathers. How are you?

    Polish couple

    Welcome, Rudy Polanski!

    Irish couple

Ah, Rudy O’Halloran. Top o’ the morning to you!

That was not Candace. It was a girl named Paula who was a one-shot character. Elizabeth was jealous of how Paula wore items often meant for full-grown women, such as earrings. Elizabeth got her ears pierced (and Elly was the one to cry! :P). When Paula sausage she had nylons, Elly put her foot down. She told Elizabeth the fashion race ends right here, right now.

Farley is dead. It stands to reason that Farley’s parents are also deceased.

True. A good strip could be where April gets no treats or some type of reward is withheld on the basis where her parents explain to her the concept of how food costs money. Every time April wastes food, that must be compensated in some manner.

Michael & Josef: Open the door, Richard!

Open the door and let me in

    Open the door, Richard

Richard, why don’t you open that door?

Gordon would probably take every precaution to secure a check, as well as know what endorsement of a check means.

Not a very detail-oriented woman, calling her tenants just by last name. Does she not know their first names are Josef and Michael?

Like the strip where Elizabeth said she needed a raise in her allowance.

Elizabeth: Daddy, I need a raise in my allowance!

    John: OK, let me know.

    Elizabeth: What do you mean?

John: Let us sit down and see what you have been spending it on. Receipts would be a big help. If the cost of school supplies and school lunch has been increasing, then that makes an excellent point for increasing your allowance.

Elizabeth{nervous}: Uh, you know what, I am fine with what I get right now.

    Elizabeth leaves

John{talking to himself}: Nothing tightens up a budget like the threat of an audit.
