My comics here on GoComics have always been from 4 years previous, for the somewhat arbitrary reason that when GoComics approached me in 2012 about posting my comics here, they suggested starting from the beginning of Savage Chickens (2005) but I thought the early years were a bit scruffy-looking so I suggested starting with 2008 instead.

For my current comics, you can follow me on social media or visit my website. I’m just finishing up my holiday break, so new comics start up again tomorrow! :)

Explaining a joke is guaranteed to kill it, but let’s do it anyway…

Here, I’m riffing on the style of multiple-choice exam questions, where instead of choosing one of the answers, you can often choose the last answer, “All of the above”. Stressed-looking Chicken #2 can’t possibly choose just one drink, because the holidays are a deeply stressful season, requiring all available drinks. It’s an exaggeration, of course. Nobody is so stressed that they need all the drinks. At least, I hope not! :)

It WAS a crazy time to be in the hospital! I was barely going outside at that point, let alone going to a place filled with sick people! But the hospital staff were great and it all worked out fine in the end! :)

Yes! I draw all of my comics on post-it notes! For some of the longer ones, I digitally stick two post-its together but all of the original art is hand-drawn, ink on post-it. :)
