Yep. I know it’s the law. However, when the car was built, the top was “chopped” by 2 inches, therefore making the flat windshield that much smaller. So, there’s no way in the world a person of my size would fit thru that windshield in a wreck. Now in a fender-bender, I can see myself doing a face-plant against said windshield.
I sit on my seat belts in the ‘33. I figure if or when I ever get into a horrible wreck, aint gonna get outta that ride alive anyhoo; it’s all metal, no fiberglass.
Yep. We owned two boats at one time, and I agree with your statement. Same thought(s) go with the dozen or so hotrods I’ve owned that I poured money into; does not apply for my ’33 Pontiac however.
I agree with you, and looking at that 5th panel reminded me of how much I SPENT on the cars ’n trucks I owned/sold. The ’33 Pontiac that I now own was built in 1985. The guy and his wife drove it to the Louisville, KY “big show” in 1994. All those hot rod insurance companies appraised it at $55k.
Hey ! Is THAT the “bigger” boat from the movie Jaws?
