    It’s irrational.

There were some YouTube videos where Dana voiced some of her strips, at least a few times with other voice actors, but I can’t find them now. I hope they haven’t been deleted.

I thought of the same thing. I don’t suppose the idea is totally original, though.

Yes, there was, and it was the first thing I thought of as I read this. Duke was supposedly Denver’s next door neighbour in Aspen, just like the real Hunter Thompson was, and hated him with a passion.

But overly critical here. One panel gags hardly ever hold up to this kind of logical scrutiny anyway.

Of course, it’s not really that funny, but from a kid like Calvin, it should be good enough.

And there is much to be said about being more safety conscious. The whole premise behind this storyline is that a truck appeared unexpectedly. Doesn’t sound very safe to me.

Still, you may be right about parents back then. Lots of people refused to wear seat belts, too. Doesn’t mean that it was the smart thing to do.

I’m sure that it’s her hair. I never thought it was anything else. The colourist also gives it the same yellow as the rest of her hair.

Note that in the earliest strips it was also pretty clear that Charlie Brown was not bald, he just had very short hair. The curl on his forehead was the edge of his bangs, not a single hair. However, as Schulz’s drawing style evolved, it changed to look more like a single hair. And of course, without a visible edge, it was hard to colour it that way.

Proper parents would have an issue with their daughter crawling on hands and knees over a street.

Of course, Peanuts parents seem to exist in a quantum state. They both exist and don’t exist at the same time.
