There was a dog in our neighborhood in Florida that would play fetch with ripe/rotten/broken oranges. The mooshier the better. Daisy would insist that you throw the orange for her. Me, the clueless human, kept trying to get her to play fetch with a “cleaner” orange. No luck. She would only fetch the one she brought you. Good ol’ Daisy….
If you look at the very “early days” of CB you could understand that people would dislike CB. However, Charles Schulz changed CB pretty quickly into the CB we know and love. CB is usually very kind until provoked, but, there is always room for improvement.
I too was curious about street names. In addition to the Melendez connection I found a picture posted with Sparky and Chuck Bartley at Pebble Beach. I could not find anything through a quick Google for anyone named Wardwick connected with Charles Schulz. RATS! I was hoping to find Peppermint Patty’s address…..
WoW! What a memory. I remember late nights of my Dad trying to help my brother with Algebra and Dad is telling him about Trigonometry. He had major “Sally moments” back then. I think he got a D in Algebra.
