The tally (assist to Wikipedia): Of the 20 artists pictured, 4 (Morrison, Joplin, Hendrix and Presley) did not survive the 70s. John Lennon was shot in 1980. George Harrison passed on in 2001 and Johnny Cash in 2003. The rest, thankfully, are still with us. ranging in age from 67 to 78.
