   I agree with you about the second season, I rather feel that they were under sever budget constraints at the time and it does not travel well to the present day. The first season was the best, I have to admit I do watch it now and again ;)

   Most of the episodes were self-contained without the need to watch previous episodes. Brings back so many memories… Death’s Other Dominion was a great episode ;)

   My TV Remote was up-market, it also had brightness and contrast buttons as well… :)

   Mine has a little thumb switch behind the screen that just moved up and down and presses in for select. This activates an on-screen menu but only for the basic functions, the rest needs a remote.
