Wow, many thanks to Quark, Rom & Nog! To quote Sylvia Hartmann’s Project Sanctuary website:The Ferengi believe that the universe is held together by the Great Material Continuum, also known as the Great River. The Ferengi believe that each part of the universe has too much of one thing, but not enough of another, and it is through the continual flow of the Great River that wants and needs can be fulfilled, if one navigates the River with sufficient entrepreneurial skill.

Also, gocomics maintains an official fandom wiki for Crabgrass. Links and addresses aren’t allowed in these comments, but you can certainly search and find it pretty easily. Good luck; it’s a good read.

A nice “beginning” explanation can be found by clicking on the About tab at the top of this page. And then indeed, Rod Sterling’s spirit along with other amazing & intriguing influences rear their inspired heads.A point many new readers (like me, only been here for three months or so, and now I am HOOKED) easily miss that causes confusion is the timeline of the strips, which is set roughly in the 80’s but definitely before cell phones and the Internet.

The artwork in all 4 panels is great today, but the third panel is terrific and amazing; I especially like the depiction & capture of their efforts to move upwards towards higher ground whilst coping with the Walking Gamers. Well-done, well-played & well-drawn!

Clever! (Did you mean “Santa Carla”…or am I “Lost…?”)Regardless, thanks for the comment!

Many thanks! Your posting helps this newbie, and I am sure many others.

No way! Crumbs is a valued buddy, confidant & critical member of Team Kevin. (Plus, it warms my heart to see Crumbs when he is included in Kevin & Miles’ adventures. So…upon further reflection, I suppose Crumbs may provide for my own well-being as he does for Kevin’s. And that’s okay, lol. Thank you for posting your comment; it’s helped me take a few steps along a very nice path of self-reflection.)

Thanks, TBrooklynA! I always seem to enjoy the limited time I spend on the Frazz strips, so now I’m following the strip and will get to read it every day. Thanks!

Thanks, Khatkhattu! I now have a NEW (for me) strip to follow.
