   Hard to say. Spain has been a monster and unbeaten. Austria has performed surprisingly well, and of course, Bayern is in the mix, and Portugal saved its butt. Still, two more games to go for each group, so it’s up in the air. LOTS of ties.

   I think I am assuming correctly ;) He said specifically to a TV, he hasn’t owned one in a long time…and a 50" “monitor”? Even still, if he already has the laptop, and he’s looking to mirror the screen, he might as well get a smart TV …unless his laptop is so old, it still has a VGA on the side of it and a fan that can double as a hair dryer.

   No need to do that with smart TVs. They have USB connections to add thumbdrives to playback most video or audio files and connect to every streaming service. Buy a sound bar and you have a compact entertainment system on a budget. I did that for years.

   I feel that. Our first is on the spectrum but very outgoing and communicative. While Austism is a genetic trait, its severity is roulette. Like any genetic trait, it can probably skip generations, and environmental factors can trigger it. So nobody really knows what they are going to get and the nurture part is the most important part to balance things out not through hard discipline, but trying to understand and then discipline and reward as appropriate. But even that is just our process, and other parents will do it totally differently based on their upbringing and situation.

   Oh man, it’s like my comment from a few weeks ago has come to life about people who aren’t parents thinking they’d be the best parents ever. Enjoy your fever dream while it lasts, Toni.

   It is. We don’t know enough about Jonah or Shannon’s mom (maybe I missed that strip where they explain what his day job is and where the mom is). Perhaps Jonah has real acting talent and he has a career to lookk forward to. Maybe he’ll get the gig and it will require a move leading to some hard choices between leaving his and Shannon’s support system or just leaving Shannon to be raised at home with visits. We’ll see. I feel like we’re moving towards the answer by 2025 or 2026 haha.

    I’m sure others have mentioned it, but that’s missing the point of this arc. It’s about parenting as young adults build their careers. If they can’t take care of a kid for 6 months and don’t even have a pet, what will they do if they continue the discussion about kids? It’s the one thing didn’t plan out: time.
