ATGMer: you win – you’re right! I paid $139 to watch all six seasons of Northern Exposure. BUT — I did get 365 days of free Prime shipping, ad-free access to Amazon Prime music and a multitude of books on Amazon Prime Reading which I use on a very regular basis all for a cost of less than $0.38 per day for my Northern Exposure payment. Less because every time they are late shipping an item, I submit a complaint and receive monetary recompense-averaging five dollars for every instance.

If you’re an Amazon prime member, you can watch the entire series for free. Just completed watching all episodes for the first time after last seeing it 29 years ago. He was like seeing an old friend. The series has definitely withstood the test of time and still stands out with its excellent writing.

As an avid reader and commentator on GoComics, I am deeply disappointed by the recent decision to remove comments on political cartoons. This move silences a vital part of the community—our voices. Rather than shutting down discussions, GoComics should invest in better moderation tools to foster respectful dialogue.

A big shout-out and yay to Ruben Bowling and his comic strip “Tom the Dancing Bug” for being one of the surviving platforms that still allows reader input. I urge fellow readers and cartoonists to express their support for reinstating comments. Let’s advocate for an improved platform that values our input and encourages thoughtful discourse. Together, we can ensure our voices are heard and respected.

Feel free to post this on relevant forums and social media platforms to gather support!

There once was deluded Mike Lester,

Who thought Trump and Bill were akin, no less, sir.

    But Trump’s Stormy debacle,

    Left Mike in a cockle,

For his logic could hardly be lesser.

A man named Lester was sure,

That Trump would a courtroom endure.

But Trump slept through the case,

    34 Convictions did race,

Now Lester’s hopes lie on the floor.

There once was a Rock, strong and bold,

    In politics, endorsements he’d hold.

    From Obama to Biden,

He chose with such pride in,

Yet regrets in his story now told.

    = = =

    Republicans now sing his praise,

But his punditry fails in its ways.

    For endorsements once grand,

    Now slip through his hand,

In a political twist, Rock’s dismayed.

Looks like I missed the mark with my Monday prediction. Al’s back to bashing transgender folks. Thank goodness Easter’s over, so Al can get back to his favorite pastime: spreading hate.

@Free or Not?The scripture in the Bible that states that Jesus embraced everyone and told them to “Go and sin no more” is John 8:1-11.

In this passage, a woman caught in adultery is brought to Jesus by the scribes and Pharisees. They accuse her of sin and ask Jesus what they should do with her. Jesus responds by saying, “Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone.” The crowd disperses, leaving only Jesus and the woman.

Jesus then says to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t anyone condemn you?” She replies, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus says, “Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

This passage shows that Jesus is willing to embrace everyone, even those who have sinned. He does not condemn the woman, but instead tells her to go and sin no more. This is an important message of hope and forgiveness, grace and mercy for ALL people.
