   The bio on the FBOFW website says she was living in England as a teenager during WWII and met a Canadian PFC named Robert Dingle. They married and she moved to his family farm, and they had 4 children. Eventually they lost the farm and her husband drank himself to death. Her oldest son convinced her to join his family in London Ontario, where she bought the house she now rents rooms to college students in.

   She wasn’t a gift, Sally Hemmings was inherited by the Jeffersons along with her mother & siblings, when John Wayles died. Sally was not even born until 1773, the same year John Wayles died. Her affair with Jefferson started around 1787 when she was 14, 5 years after Martha’s death.
