I had a pen pal from Barcelona in the 1970s. We stayed in touch and I’ve seen him and his extended family several times in Spain (and the USA) over the past several years. They are a wonderful family and I am so glad I had this opportunity when I was a kid.
Yes, this strip is incoherent. It seems like the writers are barfing out ridiculous comments to make themselves feel better. I am leaving after a long time of following.
I should have included that my parents passed away and I had to clear out a house that was full of stuff, which is different than this story line line, yes. My bad. I was settling my Mom’s estate.
My siblings and I had a sealed bid auction with all my Mom’s stuff. We bid dollars, or no bid, on each item. The highest bidder won the item and paid the amount that the second highest bidder submitted. An economist came up with this method. I trued up all the puts and takes and made the money work out with the final estate settlement. My sisters got the items they truly wanted and my brother and I pocketed some money.
