Tiffany, sporting raingear, goggles, gloves, and utilizing some kitchen tongs, successfully retrieves and places Leslie’s card in a plastic bag. “Nobody tells me what to do, Gunther,” she says, with an uncharacteristically angry expression. She stares at the card in the bag.
Wouldn’t it be funny if Gunther decides to muss his own hair and mess up his suit in solidarity with Tiffany, and when he leaves, people seeing both of them and think something happened? Then zany, hilarious complications could follow . . .
So, here’s what’ll happen. Maybe. Evans will consume some space and time with characters going over whether taking a national tragedy as a touchstone for a personal, cherished milestone. Or, the wedding will go on as planned, but an emergency will occur, Brad and Toni will step up heroically. Tragically, Toni will Perish. Or maybe not.
