<This self-pitying whiny temper tantrum, worthy of a 3-year-old, is being thrown by the “adult” Gunther who became so much more “mature” as a result of his adventure in Peru. Does Greg Evans really want us to despise Gunther? If so, he’s doing a pretty good job of it.>
I agree except that Gunther had already been despised well before that – acting like a wimpy 3-year-old mommy’s little boy that likes to make dresses.
My son’s birthday is on April 20. Does that mean, esp. since we are here in Colorado, that we should not celebrate his birthday because that was the day of the Columbine shootings?
That would be extremely tragic, imo. We thought we got rid of this blubbering fool for good but he turned up again like a pest. This, however, could be something different – but I do not have the confidence that either would change and offer much beyond being worthless space, taking away from much better and more interesting characters.
Tiffani’s problem is twofold: she is extremely vain and conceited, no realizing how ridiculous she looks and the importance she puts on primping herself and to others. Second, she is a spoiled rich girl with little brains or lttile ambition outside of her extreme lack of self-evaluate or perspective (e.g., clueless on acting ambition). Combine them all and you have a despicable character.
I had reached the point of avoiding this comic whenever Gunther (most cringe-worthy character) or Tiffany (most despicable character) shows up. Now that they could be a couple, I would find that interesting – if they can change each other. Otherwise, I would be interested only focusing on the couples and having no focus on the extras. Adding these two as a regular couple (if changed) would be a bonus.
Dave, at least the parrot has stopped squaking about comments here of underage sex. :) I guess I can teach the bird to ignore all those song titles and start reading below them.
I echo some of the comments that this week’s strips are not good or fun to read. Oh well.
Why are the first part of everyone comment sections filled with inane song titles? Such a waste of space and makes Luann’s comment sections unreadable.
