Yeah, Grandma is so not wrong!

The character Lister learns that while he was “frozen in time,” his cat, Frankenstein, survived and multiplied in the space ship Red Dwarf. Her descendants evolved into Felix sapiens. (Cats that look like humans.) These cats worshipped Lister as their God and remembered (incorrectly) his plans to bring Frankie to Fiji and sell hot dogs and doughnuts.

The cats knew he had been frozen to save them – he had smuggled Frankie on board and refused to give her up when ordered to do so. They revered him as Cloister the Stupid and believed he would return one day to lead them to Fuchal (cat paradise.) The monks believed he would return wearing a golden doughnut on his head and carrying a sausage. Most of the cats had left the ship in search of Fuchal, but there were two still on board when Lister was revived.

It is a fun Britcom worth watching if you enjoy British humor and science-fiction. Also the character Cat plays a very good human like version of a cat. He is hilarious and often steals the show.

Country music though I do like most music genres. Lately I have been enjoying cozy mysteries most – though I love SF and fantasy too.

I am rereading this after reading it earlier this morning. Finally dawned on me that panel 7 appears to have a quiet homage to Red Dwarf.

That onion ring looks like a doughnut OZ is wearing on her head! I am probably wrong and maybe someone else has noted it above (haven’t read all the comments yet) but I had to share.

I’ve heard people refer to the posts on “X” as excretions.

Thanks for the history lesson Georgia and kittens. I knew Mr. Lincoln liked cats but I had not heard this tale. Well drawn and written.

Kate is not looking very well. She needs some rest and cuddles with her animal friends.

I love it, “Kitty-man.” What a great nickname!

He does look much more relaxed. I do hope he recovers.

I heard that. I did wonder if some of that audio was faked. I hope not as it’s so funny, but I do still wonder a bit. AI can manipulate so much nowawdays.
