I work at a small town grocery store in America and our male employees wear black/tan pants, white button up shirts and ties (sometimes bow ties) with an apron. The female employees wear black/tan pants or skirt, white button collar shirts and smocks or vests. It is business professional. The only workers who wear different are the employees that work in the meat department (because it is gross in there). The store has been around since 1928. People cared more for how a grocery store presented themselves than they do nowadays.
I felt Brad’s comment down to my bones. I think I might have even fractured a few finding a few in the dark.
