Thats what I call a “Gwen Stacy” hairstyle. I first noticed it in an Alice in Wonderland Hanna Barberra cartoon in the 60s. Often on girls when you draw them, the hair can look like a helmet. Its just how they cartoon out. Most of my female characters, but not all, are different only by hairstyle and personality. Sometimes clothing can set them apart. I have a group of triplets and they can recognized by hairstyle, personality, and dress. As a character develops even the hairstyle can change. Such is the way it is in cartooning. Look at Peanuts with Charlie Brown and Pepperment Patty. Or even Lucy and the original Patty. Very similar.
Spud is totally knocked out at this hour.
