Let’s sit you down for a little explanation: this is a comic strip going for laughs, it’s not a political cartoon. Schulz is starting with one of his most obnoxious out-there characters and having her portray an absurd caricature of feminism. Peanuts was well known for pioneering the expression of insights into the human character. It’s highly unlikely that what Lucy says reflects Schulz’s understanding of feminism.
