I read a book once called “Am Exaltation of Larks”. It gave the name and history of the collective pronouns for many animals. Today all or most of them are probably online. Some are funny, some are odd. For example, there is a different word for whether geese are in the air or on the ground.

When I was growing up, all we had was a wringer washer and a kitchen sink to rinse the wash. No dryer of course, and five people to wash for. With a washer and dryer, what is Opal’s problem?

This is the old Bob Oscar! Great to have him back!
