My aunt used to use sign language with her small children. To the point that when she would say goodnight, she wood sign goodnight, and then say she was turning the light off and sign it. My mom likes to tell the story of when one night, when my aunt was putting her child to bed, he started crying. When she asked what was wrong, the child gave her the sign for the light, and my aunt was able to determine that the child wanted the light left on. Kids will tell you what they want, but only if they know how!
My Dad tends to lean to the left…. and so does our tree! We’ve tried numerous times to get the tree to stand up straight, but no avail. Real life applications here!
In Missouri, they DO cancel school when there is only an inch!! People really DON"T know how do drive in it. Since that equals days to sleep in, I don’t really mind :D
Lucky. It’s still too cold out here! You’d need a coat and blanket to do that today. If only the weather would get and STAY warm……..sigh
