Yes the one about grandma drugging Daisy so she forgets Lil Abner. Then she runs off to find a sailor who is headed to a remote outpost to marry Daisy and send the checks home. We have been here many times before. After this Abner heads to the city to live with his rich aunt. Then the eternal night in dogpatch and back to the murderous chair storyline we just finished. It is like Groundhog day. There are a lot more strips, Lil Abner ran for 43 years, I just wish Go Comics would get some of them.

Not sure I know what you mean. It is quite soft. It is easy to sand and use a router on. It does have tiny slivers even when sanded to 400 grit.

I am making window trim from rough cut redwood, definitely woodworking. Carpentry = using standard materials to build a structure. Woodworking = modifying wood for enhanced aesthetic effect.

My older brother introduced the family to Krampus 20 years ago or more. I happened upon Rare Exports and spotted the Krampus allusions right away. Great movie!

We watched Red One last night. Pretty fun and Krampus has a big part so I am giving it two hooves up. Rare Exports is still the best Krampus movie going though.

“by himself” is the key here. Besiders, free spirits don’t care about your repressive definitions. Tacky is in the eye of the judgy.
