Bern is working on so many false pretenses. She needs to get her head checked.

Oh the other hand, he’s got his eye on her, so I hope that develops.

I’m with @agrythree on this one. This is supposed to be a reconciliation of the issue at hand, which is the breakup. Bernice jumping to conclusions (which is a bad thing, since her career is supposed to be listen first, assist second). Hee-hawing over sexual orientation or mainlining a new character is minor compared to emotional distress.

    This man is a genius.

I vaguely recall a conversation between these two on the subject—something about not getting out there Christmas/New Years and instead going for Spring Break.

So unless there are new developments, this is not going to be pleasant.

…But what if you discover something worthwhile? There’s always two potential ends to a path; a glorious sunset or the dead end of a canyon. Stop thinking pessimistic. What happened to ‘bold and new’?

Back in Aug/Sept, Bern also said she’d try not to control everything and to relax. I guess she forgot that lesson.

Besides (and on the topic of rules): "They’re more like guidelines anyway. -Elizabeth Swann; Pirates of the Caribbean

One thing about rules is you have to know them if you’re going to be breaking them. Since Gunther doesn’t board there, he might be unaware of the ‘curfew’ that Bern is trying to reinforce (props to argythree for pointing that out).

But by the same token, Tiffany doesn’t care about rules much, so I can see her not telling Gunther about them.

However I think she cares just enough about him (plausible) to not get him in trouble by association. She seems like an attention-starved drama queen who demands the center of attention; I think that’s been pretty obvious in recent panels.

Truly, these are words to live by. This author is right; we all are children of divine parentage.

@Kind&Kinder No truer words can be said about him. A poet far ahead of his years.
