I’ve got poor vision in one eye. So if you point to something I have no idea where you are pointing. If tell look right there I’m baffled. This type of description would work pretty good for me, I think. Normally I just say say yeah that’s pretty interesting. It’s easier.

When you use a power saw stop cutting when you see a big knot. When you’re crocheting reread the pattern, their sometimes wrong, when making a recipe taste before serving, when behind the wheel of a car remember you are the driver and look where you’re going.

When I retired I took up wood carving. I joined a club to learn how. I’ve been carving for ten years. I have absolutely no talent. But everyone in the club is always encouraging me. And I do carve better than I did. I’ll never be a Master. I’m barely an intermediate. But I really enjoy it and my family loves getting my gifts. It doesn’t need to be lucrative, it doesn’t need to be good. You just have to enjoy doing it.

I once studied guitar. Until my teacher told me that it was ok. It was more important to want to learn than it was to have talent. I have up and moved on.

My neighbors and I watch the trackers and frequently meet at the trucks so he can just sort of deliver to more than one person (his truck must be near the address where he delivers) Gives us a chance to catch up each other’s news.
