Somewhere between 3rd and 5th grades, inclusive, we were taught when to use subjective and objective case pronouns; most people forget and/or just don’t care to use English properly.
When our kids were little, I couldn’t get them to watch a B&W movie. But I took them to see “The General” at the theater, and probably because it was silent (as well as, magnificent!), they were totally engrossed in it.
