That poem is false, and insulting. It doesn’t have a bit of truth in it. I really wish people would quit perpetuating it.

Those who do anything greatly have largely been taught by someone else. A few exceptions to the rule, but only a few. Look at any olympic athlete, or athlete from any field they had great teachers. Same goes for any field of endeavor, from science to business to sports.

I Think @aaron wilson dunn, said it best below.

To Jase99. No, he didn’t say that. He stated that it would be a distraction to the team. You are interpreting that to mean to the players. He clarified very clearly at the end of the post what he was talking to. Also the ESPN article show’s he clearly articulates that it would be a distraction to the team as a whole because of all the media hype. He would not want to put his team through that. Mr. Litton needs to get a clue and stop believe small quotes from an entire conversation.

The point is to NOT be caught in indecision. Any of those futures are awesome, don’t get caught by indecision, but choose and live it without looking back at “what if”. Those are the people that are remembered throughout history. The longer you delay, the more worthless your life becomes.

Ummm. I am not sure where some of you get your information, but during the bailout Mr. Akerson was the CEO. His whole purpose was to get the gov’t out of the GM business. He retired because of his wife’s cancer late last year and then current CEO Mary Barra took over. So these problems were obviously from Ackerson. Who’s main focus was profitability, which they did get to. All the stock that the gov’t owned is now purchased by GM as of Dec 13. What we are seeing is typical business issues when the focus is profitability and not on the consumer. Wow, people.

We are less and less a nation of government for the people by the people, and more and more a government of for the power, by the power.

One way to make things better. Don’t tax income or consumption. ONLY tax property. This will distribute the tax burden to an appropriate level across income levels and no loop holes. You own the property you pay the tax. Those who aren’t wealthy enough to own land, essentially don’t pay taxes. Those wealthy who own a lot of land, pay a lot in taxes. Simple. Likely will never happen, but it is simple and fair. Spread the word!

Wow, I didn’t know they had their own site. I like their site better as it gives more information on person being quoted. I think I will just read it there from now on.
