I did that too…. my sisters had all gone to the candy store, I was three, they wouldn’t take me, so I took the Monopoly money and my doll and headed out. We had just moved to a new neighborhood and no one knew me and I didn’t know my address. Luckily someone said they knew a family with a lot of kids just moved in up the street. Mom opened the door and said to herself, she has the same doll as Lisa ……
that was me, i had five older sisters. mom worried what was going to happen when i went off to kindergarten ….. mom worked at being a home mom – laundry, ironing, cleaning, shopping, cooking ….. i never felt neglected. i miss her.
