    My penmanship comes in handy for writing checks.

    When I had a secretary (typist), I wrote in longhand and had it typed by someone else.

    The President can’t tell the courts how to decide cases or tell Congress what laws to pass. Those two branches can’t tell the President how to exercise the Executive power.

    True. My sons can’t write cursive, but they can type a lot faster than I can.

    The military is just one part of the executive branch. The civil service is another part. The President is the highest authority of all the executive parts.

    The problem with not voting for the lesser evil often means that the greater evil gets elected.

    I did what my superiors told me to do. I’m made to understand that the chain of command had the President at the top.

    If “civil service employees” don’t do what they are told by their superiors, they can be fired.

    There is a continuum between Libertarian and Totalitarian.

    The Republicans get closer to the Libertarian side, and the Democrats get closer to the Totalitarian side.

    In Catholic school, we didn’t have “Social Studies.” We had different subjects called “History” and “Geography.” We also didn’t have “Language.” We had “Reading,” “English,” and “Penmanship.”
