My wife is Canadian by birth and now a US citizen and has been for many years. She grew up in Kingston, Ontario – across the lake (more or less) from Watertown, NY. Funny thing is all signage must be in English and French for all provinces except Quebec. Quebec can have and still does have French only signage.
Grew up in Brockton and quite familiar with those who didn’t pay attention to signs and got “Storrowed”. Week when colleges started moving in was always a fun time. IIRC the lowest bridge clearance is either 9 or 10 feet.
I work A/V for our church and get to do a lot of memorial services. Get calls from out pastor who asks the family wants to do this, can we make it work? Have seen everything from traditional to Kansas and AC/DC as part of a service. It is all what the family and individual wants and how they identify with it.
Me being left-handed, my wife used to complain about how I put things on the hangar backwards. Then we got twisty hangars and the problem is solved. After 43 years she is happy that I at least hang stuff up from the dryer.
No, no, I meant where was I born?
