Living in AZ we don’t change our clocks. We just change the entire time zone. DST for us is Pacific Standard Time, although NWS weather advisories still say MST.

Did one in Vega – I can sit for 2 hours and say NO for a pair of show tickets. Went to Ka and got free upgraded seats as my wife was using a motorized scooter. Put of my USAF experience was chief of wing flight scheduling and we said no on a regular basis in regard to the bombing ranges.

Elementary and Jr High (Middle School) had to walk as it was less than a mile. Soph year high school it was public bus to school and dad picked me up on the way home from work (went to school in the afternoon). Jr year girl friend’s father drove us in on the way to work and took the public bus home. Sr year, school bus as we were in the new high school on the SW side of town (lived on north side). 6 mile drive to school.

Had a color laser (as well as an inkjet) and to replace all carts on the laser it would be about $500 (more if I went XL on the carts). Bought a laser monochrome all in one on sale. Got another $75 off by training in my old boat anchor of a printer. Win Win all around. On a side note, on drawback with the tanked inkjets is their print speed is about half that of traditional cartridge printers.

Is that why it’s called practicing medicine? Used to fly with a guy that called the base hospital the medical hoppy shop. Flight surgeon’s office great, the rest of the hospital, seemed like a hobby shop.

Had several Erector sets. What was great was the parts were interchangeable.

Spent too much time in England in the late 70s and early 80s so they won’t take my blood. Even though they said it is now safe, they still won’t take it. I still remember the old Far Side cartoon with the two cows talking about Mad Cow. The second says he’s not worried, as it doesn’t affect us chickens.
