I think I could be a writer for that genre. ‘’So you decided to give your kidney away. Hope you don’t need it some other day."

It’s been years since I’ve had chocolate pudding, and decades since I’ve had home made chocolate pudding. Mmmmm. Wouldn’t that be a treat with a dollop of whip cream on top. `

I’ll ask Alexa to play some Leon Russell and some Beatles this morning. I took a motorcycle ride down to Massachusetts to visit my brother and also to see a friend in the VA hospital in Boston. Way too hot riding down to call it enjoyable and coming back it was raining or drizzling most of the way. 1100 miles later and I’m home with a bad head cold that’s seems to be moving to my chest. So, here I am at home, sick, and once again proving you don’t have to be young to do foolish things. I should have stayed longer at my brother’s until I was feeling better.

In stead of the ‘’Happy Birthday’’ song, they could play Linda Ronstadt’s ’’Poor Poor Pitiful me".

Face it….The world use to be nicer when news was news and reporters and journalist did their jobs in pursuit of the truth. Trying to label Republicans as the source of malcontent is only showing a limited view. I’ll get off my soap box now and go have a beer.

I’ll take the snow, the Nor’easters and sub-freezing temperatures of northernmost Maine over hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and wild fires any day. Having lived in NC for 35 years I’ve had my share of tornadoes and oppressive heat. Life at a slower pace is just right for me.
