   Well, yeah, these are great strips and I can’t imagine how a cartoonist manages to do a strip a day. But I worry about the future of the franchise if he doesn’t start coming up with new material. Thanks for the info.

   Driest time on gocomics-more Get Fuzzy re-runs? These are great strips but why isn’t Conley producing new stuff? I’d really hate to see this strip stagnate into a death spiral, because it’s been so great!

   As a Liberal I’m sick of having to defend my politics all the time. I hope BC isn’t headed towards becoming a cartoon w/a bias (liberal or conservative.) I’ve enjoyed the strip all my life & I’d hate to have to start avoiding it. Kindnessmatters is right about free speech, etc but I avoid TV shows & comic strips that put me on the defensive. How will BC benefit by driving me & other readers away? Isn’t the goal to have MORE readers rather than less? As it is I can’t even enjoy family meals anymore because of politics (and I’ll bet lots of you don’t either.) for decades BC has been neutral.the second I decide it isn’t anymore I’ll drop it forever.

   This is a classic. Which begs the question why aren’t there any new strips? Is Conley sick or something? Forgive me if this is an old topic. I’m new here. Don’t get me wrong. I love this strip.

   I’m relieved to see that none of you get it either. Maybe BC is shooting for the “Zippy” crowd?
