I actually do. Children break things. They are using the facilities/ eating food. They currently are being well behaved but they will start to get bord. The younger ones may need naps. We don’t know what time it is but eventually Frank and Nancy will come home. They should have a “heads up” as to what is going on.
It is not a horrible act. It is very nice, but in reality there are liability issues that do exist. A simple phone call (even a text) could alleviate that issues. No one knows how long it will take before Piro can return. I have taken care of many relatives that went into the emergency room and it took all day or longer.
Where are all of these kids going to sleep tonight? Their mother is not going to be released from the hospital tonight if she has just suffered a stroke. What if one of them gets sick or injured? The DeGroots are not their guardians. It is nice that Luann can play with them and make sandwiches but there are liability issues that have not been taken into account here.
I tried to pay for a subscription with a pre-paid card. I would like to use the pre-paid card so that when the subscription expires it would be done. The company would not allow us to pay with that card.
Wow, sorry to hear that about Walt and his mother. My poor grandmother continuted to live in the house for a day or so until my Aunt came to town to stay with her too. My Aunt also got sick. All of this before my grandfather got out of the hospital. That is when they had the furnace tested. Everyone survived anyway.
My grandparents bought a new house when I was 15. In the fall, both of them got sick and went into the hospital. I stayed with my grandmother in the house when she got out of the hospital. We both were overcome during the night. My mother came over and I barely was able to open the door to let her in the house the next morning. We found out that the boiler was cracked and sending carbon monoxide into the house when they started using the furnace. We used the fireplace to heat the house through the Christmas season that year until they could get a new furnace.
