   I am at the point that I would love to fly – only about two and a half hours. We have a parrot and I don’t know how that will work. We have a car there so we don’t need to drive the car from Michigan. My husband still wants to drive but I am trying to change his mind.

   I have had two VWs and one Ford Escort that were stick shift. I love driving a stick. I wish I could have stick shift now. I have driven every vehicle that we have owned, pulling campers from Michigan to Florida. My husband and I share driving 50-50. We have sold the campers now but we still drive from Michigan to Florida in 2 days.

   Property taxes are usually paid by check. Banks do not suggest that people pay with automatic payments from their accounts.

   When I was approximately 14, I spent time in Tennessee with my cousins. One day, my 7 year old cousin screamed in the bathroom, so I ran in to see what was wrong. She pointed behind me and I turned to see a giant spider (probably a wolf spider but I didn’t know it then). Every time we screamed, it jumped and every time it jumped, we screamed!!! Soon, my cousin’s mother came in with a broom and killed it. I would have preferred it to be taken outside, but at that point we just needed to be saved!

    I don’t mind the Hostas – they take over anyway. My rabbits eat my Turk Top lilies!
