Powerful words there C. Powerful words. But I don’t think society as a whole either cares or has the ability to care about changing anything. They are too busy just trying to survive and provide and don’t think they have the ability to change anything, so they just accept what the TV commercials tell them and IF they vote.they vote for whoever had the most commercials telling them the other guy was BAaaadddd. So all those investments, I mean contributions the politicians get from the ultra-wealthy are really put to “good use” and pay handsome dividends to the “right” people in the end. We need to change politics because money certainly is NOT speech, but as long as the injustices of the Supreme Court keep changing the Constitution to benefit the wealthy at the expense of the nation we won’t have anything but the rich in charge and everyone else left to work their butts off just to subsist.
Well said. Too bad most refuse to see that while hard work is often required to get ahead and become rich, hard work alone does not guarantee that you will become rich.
You do NOT read Micheal WME’s comments right if you think he is a cheerleader of the oligarchs. You have to read the links he provides and THINK about his comment. He is the master of sarcasm and the absurd. Often his real point is the opposite of what he writes. I suppose you don’t like NeoconMan either? Please dude, chill out and just enjoy the humor and understand Michael WME is a satirist.
That may annoy the squirrels but I had a squirrel that really annoyed me. I would always stop in front of the house to get the newspaper. Then I would drive down the street on my way to work. Every day for a week a black squirrel would run out from the same tree and stop in front of me. I’d stop and the squirrel would run off. Every day for a week. I swear it was the same squirrel and it would wait for me and run out in front of me deliberately.
I had one of the very first home video games, two “paddles” and tennis was the main game. It also came with color clings you put on the TV screen for color for the games.
And then I also owned a Timex Sinclair 1000, complete with a massive 16K memory module and a cassette tape back-up drive. High tech for the times actually.
Two things to consider,That was 38 years ago and things have changed since then AndDeveloping cavities is NOT the fault of the military or the VA, it is the responsibility of the individual for not taking better care of their teeth. To blame the VA for your developing cavities is not right, you are refusing to accept responsibility for your well being.
