The thought never came to my mind. Let’s try to keep things PG (or PG-13) on the message boards.

Agreed that the napkin drop is accidental. I think the point here is that Jack wishes Luann had dropped it; we know he’s interested. He should really move on from Luann. I’ve met girls in the past who liked to keep guys around who were interested but never intended to go out with them. A lot of times I would be hesitant to make a move for fear that I would jeopardize what little I did have with the girl, but looking back it wouldn’t have mattered—I never maintained a friendship with any of those girls, and a girl who’s actually interested won’t make you wait (or at least my wife never made me endure a “friendship” phase before we started dating).

This could be the beginning of some serious growth for Gunther. If this jolts him into the realization that the people surrounding him are going to keep sabotaging him, maybe he’ll finally get the motivation to move out and start getting somemore control over his own environment. Of course, he’ll still need to work on his nasty possessiveness, but baby steps…

I don’t think Quill lost interest because Luann hadn’t developed her own interests. Even if she had, he still would have prioritized theater. That’s fine. But there’s nothing Luann could have done to salvage that relationship. Some relationships just aren’t meant to work out.

Gunther should stop letting Les get under his skin. This only works for Les because he always gets a reaction. Also, Les talks about sex so much it’s pretty obvious he’s a virgin, and Gunther could find a way to point this out to him.

It seems like Luann is using Tara as an excuse for delaying the progression of her relationship with Jack. Which is a shame, because he is the most mature guy to pursue her…

During, not “due advent.” Crazy hyperactive autocorrect.

I like a slow buildup to Christmas due advent, starting with an advent wreath and calendar, later on part of the creche, tree right before Christmas day. The anticipation is half of the fun, and I don’t want to be worn out on Christmas when the first day of 12+epiphany rolls around.

Or perhaps Gunther and Les are actually the same person a la Fight Club…

This whole episode really drives home just how sadistic Mr. Gray is for making these guys live together when it was clear to everyone that they completely despise one another. Remember that he didn’t exactly run the plan by anyone before he brought in the construction crew.
