   And that is so typical. You should have seen what they gave me for the ADHD kid! Now I suspect they point you to the internet. Best thing I got for my dyslexic daughter was when her school set up courses for COGMED. She started liking reading and never looked back.

   I used to be a sub like that before I retired. At the last school system I worked in, hats were okay if they were cool with the teacher, so I always allowed hats, but was still on the lookout for nonsense. I miss middle schoolers like these two.

   I wonder if they are supposed to be in Maryland, where those kids were picked up for being free range. If they live near Great Falls, they could possibly make it across and into Montgomery County, where that happened. That said, the only police cars I could find that were that color were in Florida!

   All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury set on Venus and it was one hour every seven years that you could see the sun. Didn’t believe a kid who had lived on earth so locked her in a closet and then forgot her until it started raining again.
