   Thank you so much! As for Oyster Stuffing, I make oyster dressing every Thanksgiving and Christmas and it is a favorite for most of my family. As we went around the table telling what we were thankful for, one family member said, “I am thankful for oyster dressing”!!

   I think that part of what Lincoln is saying is that his opponent should have said “Lying down on the job” for correct English, not “laying”. Hens lay, people lie down.

   No food throwing here, GA Dawgs are National Champs and beat Alabama beautifully! Anyone who didn’t watch missed a great, nail biting game!!

   This reminds me of an outdoor party we gave in Florida many years ago. It was a cool, Fall night and we had a fire pit surrounded by bales of hay for seating. The hay and logs were a gift from the father of one of my friends. After the meal, everyone was sitting by the fire enjoying the company. We put the last log on the fire and at least 100 cockroaches fled out onto the feet of the surrounding guests. Needless to say, the party ended a bit early.

   When I taught middle school 6th grade my principal said, “Sixth graders get hormones for Christmas.” That was in the 80’s. I think they get them much younger now.
