Kerosene? Luxury! Ours was a wind-up model. Those clockwork CPUs were so slow…

i’ve seen buildings destroyed by termites- it ain’t pretty. Best solution is to burn ’em down, but the home nest is often somewhere out in the yard, and that needs to be rooted out.

One of my HS teachers was on the short side. One day he came out to find his VW bug set up on 55gal drums

    Did those doors open outward?

One night some of the guys at my school thought it a good idea to unhinge the door to the faculty lounge to get at the case of beer rumoured to be there…

Picture if you will 3 or 4 already half-in-the-bag mopes banging about with hinge pins in the dead of night…

When they dropped the door (BANG!) and entered, they found one of their profs snoozing blissfully away in the Comfy Chair!

Rev. B was a famous insomniac who could often be found wandering the corridors at any hour. Luckily for our hapless B&E crew, Fr. B. was also known for falling out sometimes for a full day or more when he finally settled.

i wish i could’ve seen their faces as they reassembled that door!

RE: “Amateurs”, i worked in a university maintenance dept. for nearly 3 decades; i saw a lot of pranks, clowning, and kids playing silly buggers over the years, but nothing up to the standards my classmates & i got up to in our college years.

    We’re SO doomed:

“According to Google Trends, searches for “Did Joe Biden drop out” started spiking around 6 a.m. on election day and continued to rise over the course of the day until reaching its peak at midnight.

It then started to spike again around 8 a.m. the day after.

Prior to election day, there were virtually no such searches.

President Biden, of course, dropped his re-election bid in July."
