I just wish you’d cited your research sources, because many folks are unaware that a whole-food, plant-based diet has been shown through MD-conducted, published scientific research to reverse accumulations of plaque in the arteries, among other things. Whether or not the vegan diet is ultimately healthy is another question altogether, but it is an effective treatment for certain conditions, and the average American eats far more meat than the recommended daily amount. Scaling back can be very beneficial without eliminating it entirely, as well as supplementing with plant protein.
