Having traveled to the Sahara, there are, indeed, rather large oases with trees there that support residences/farms/businesses quite nicely. The largest oasis in the world is in the southern part of Morocco at 77,000 km2.

Washington DC area. I’ve never seen one in the wild here in my 45 years living here. Okay, that opens this up to all the political jokes!

Same here. Love how pain is represented by gripping the blanket. Well done, Mike!

We had recently moved into our new home, when I saw what I believed to be a fake tarantula on the floor. I congratulated my husband on the good gag, but then it moved. I suspected the former owner’s son lost his pet which precipitated the move.

I enjoy the engagement with one another about local happenings. I get irritated when folks make a comment about what is happening near them, then fail to identify their location. I miss Affie’s daily updates.

In an attempt to get my kiddos to empty their pockets for washing, I declared any found money would be considered a tip. My largest tip was a $10 bill.

@daltongang – Every time I see your avatar it reminds me of the Red Skelton impersonator we saw in Pigeon Forge and brings a smile to my face. He was outstanding (as was Red). Thanks for the smiles.
