I graduated high school in 1964 and veterinary school in 1971. I took a lot of guff from a lot of people but my parents stuck by me. The vet school accepted 4 women for the first time in 1967. We paved the way for the 12 that were accepted the nex year. I spent 42 years in small animal practice. It has been a good ride.
