Are you comparing a CITY to an entire STATE? Typical left-wing misdirection. Also, I agree with klapre’s response to your misleading comments.

Hey, We get cold winter weather in Florida! Just a couple of days ago I had to o out and scrape the dew off my windshield!

You state: “God kicked Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden for disobeying him. And hundreds of generations later, we’re still being punished for two peoples’ bad acts. Does that seem reasonable? Why aren’t we given a chance to live in the Garden of Eden and prove ourselves worthy?” Short answer: Because we’re not. Consider it a case of ‘spiritual genetics’. When Adam (through Eve) disobeyed God, the spiritual part of them that was in communion with God was removed from their “DNA”, if you would. They were left with only a sin nature of rebellion against God, no matter how much they might protest. And what isn’t in your DNA, you can’t pass to your offspring. - The real crux of your question is that one word buried in the midst of your question: WHY? WHY did God do this? WHY didn’t God do that? What never ceases to amaze me is the amount of hubris people exhibit when questioning the very Creator of the Universe. You may be, as you indicated, an agnostic acquainted with Methodism, and are assured that folk like @magicFever495 “…don’t know their Bible….”, but I would strongly urge you to simply go read the book of Job anew. All of it. Find a current-English version if needs must be, but read it … and see if you don’t come away with a similar reaction to Job. Then we can discuss “WHY”.

No; more like the good old days when you could fully staff a control tower because your didn’t have to find enough myopic people with hearing impairment to fill the slots.

I agree that we should leave politics off the comics page. After all, there are already ENOUGH bad comedians (on both sides) in Congress so that we can find plenty to laugh at in the political pages. And a lot to weep over, as well.

Right. By making baseless claims and presenting them as facts. And by ignoring my refutation of your false claim of Pres. Trump being a capable communicator. “Deny, deflect, distract…” You have THAT Lefty Lesson down pat.

“The Orange Guy” spent HOURS on Friday (01/24/25) in N.C., NOLA and California, holding pressers, panel discussions, and open mic sessions with Residents in the devastated areas – all unscripted. And he didn’t stumble, mispronounce a word or forget where he was even once. If you’re going to denigrate him, at least have the integrity to (a) not insult the intelligent & informed readers here, and (b) not choose something so easily proven false. Unless, of course, you really ARE just a troll trying to see who will rise to your bait. My money’s on the latter, because I can’t really believe that even YOU believe what you wrote.
