Maybe Steph’s boyfriend will finally realize what a cruel streak she has and kick her to the curb. It would sure be good news for Tiff, who has shown a lot of personal growth.
I may be judging Gunther too harshly, but I based that on my own life experience. The best thing I ever did was leaving school at 18 to go off to New Orleans and San Francisco. I made lifelong friends and distinguished myself professionally as a musician. I later went back and earned a doctorate, but going off on that road trip was one of the best times of my life. Gunther has his own life to live. It doesn’t have to be my life.
Quebec! Regardless of the future of the relationship, Gunther has missed the time of his life, and the best French cuisine in North America. College will always be there, and they will always be glad to take his or Mom’s money. And for gosh sakes, if he really loves her, why is he not communicating with her on a constant basis? It seems he is the one who moved on, because he’s a sad, poor, boring schmuck. Is he really the same guy who had the stones to go to South America? I like Gunther, but she can do better. He’ll still be a bachelor when he’s 40.
I had a 90 VW Vanagon, and it did overheat, and that did lead to bad cylinder heads. Good call Toni! VW famously made a Vanagon “Westphalia” camper with a sink and an icebox with a pop up roof. That’s what they should be looking for.
I agree that Luann broke a number of rules, but by the same token, that mom is a moron if she considers archery “warfare” in this day and age. When I was in elementary school, we did archery as part of gym class. It’s a sport. It’s probably best that Luann learned a lesson, but that mother is a first-rate Karen who was probably on her way to shriek about nonexistent “critical race theory”, or Harry Potter.
