   Went to work in a grocery store after getting home from Marine Corps, in 1977. Walking around the back room arranging stocking carts, for an incoming truck, I was singing “Why Don’t We Get Drunk…” , without realizing the entire district’s managers and district superintendent were meeting just above me, on the balcony. I looked up and all of them were at the railing watching me. Got a long talking to by the store manager about my choice of songs for working.

   I keep wanting to ask our Rector if I can use the reading from Armaments, Chapter 2, verses 9-22, on my assigned Sunday for the O.T. lessons. down about even asking.

   One or two days at current tradesman wages is nothing compared to a couple of months recovering and rehabing when the entire corner collapses on Arlo. After many years of repairs and rebuilding structures with termite damage it’s a given that unseen damage is widespread and worse than predicted.
